Easy-Cheesy Beer Dip
Here's what you'll need:
- 2 blocks of cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups of finely shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet of Hidden Valley dry ranch mix
- 1 can of light beer
Instructions:
- Take the cream cheese blocks out of the refrigerator and allow to soften. (You want them to be pretty soft since you will be mixing by hand.)
- Once softened, combine the cream cheese and dry ranch mix in a bowl and stir until the powder is combined into the cheese.
- Slowly add in 1/4 of the can of beer, continue to stir.
- Slowly add in the 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, continue to stir.
- Slowly add in another 1/4-1/2 can of the beer until it reaches desired dip consistency, and is mixed completely.
- Let the dip set in the fridge for about 1-2 hours. Serve with pretzel twists or veggies.
Mexican Cheesy-Beer Dip!?!
Swap out the ranch seasoning for taco seasoning, and use a Mexican beer.
This beer dip is a party favorite, and my go-to when we offer to bring a snack or appetizer over to a friend's house. Be sure to save the link to the recipe, because you will no doubt get asked for it.
