Spicy Hawaiian Poke
Here's what you'll need:
- 2 large sashimi grade ahi tuna steaks (Tip: You can buy frozen at Whole Foods)
- 1/2 cup green onion
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of Sriracha
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 1 large avocado
- 1 tablespoon of orange juice
- 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, Sriracha, orange juice, lemon juice and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Cut the tuna into 1/2 inch cubes and toss in the liquid mixture.
- Add in the avocado and toss lightly.
- Sprinkle on the sesame seeds and diced green onion, and service over rice.
