Spicy Hawaiian Poke

Spicy Hawaiian Poke

Here's what you'll need:

  • 2 large sashimi grade ahi tuna steaks (Tip: You can buy frozen at Whole Foods)
  • 1/2 cup green onion
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of Sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 1 large avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice

Instructions: 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, Sriracha, orange juice, lemon juice and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Cut the tuna into 1/2 inch cubes and toss in the liquid mixture. 
  3.  Add in the avocado and toss lightly. 
  4. Sprinkle on the sesame seeds and diced green onion, and service over rice.
