Tiramisu
Here's what you'll need:
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 1/4 cups of mascarpone cheese
- 1 1/4 cups of whipping cream
- Pavesini Biscuits (lady finger sponge biscuits)
- Cocoa powder
- 8 shots of espresso coffee (left to cool)
- Chocolate chips or shavings for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk the sugar with the egg yolks.
- Add the mascarpone and cream and whisk together until dense.
- Lay a thick layer of the cream mixture in a baking dish.
- Dip the biscuits in the coffee, making sure not to dip the biscuits for too long or they will disintegrate. Place them on top of the cream making the first layer.
- Keep doing one layer of cream and one layer of biscuits, etc...
- Place in the fridge for a couple of hours to set.
- Sprinkle cocoa powder and chocolate shavings on top just before serving. Enjoy!
