Sweet Heat Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Here's what you'll need:
- 1 bag of brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of Sriracha
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Garlic powder
- 2 strips of bacon, cooked and diced into bits (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cover a baking pan in aluminum foil, or spray with Pam cooking spray.
- Spread the brussels sprouts out on the baking sheet, drizzle the olive oil over the top and toss. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder and toss again.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast until charred/toasted on the outside, about 25 minutes. Be sure to toss once or twice throughout the cooking time so they roast evenly.
- While they are roasting, combine your honey and Sriracha in a small bowl and whisk to combine. Adjust to taste with more of either ingredient. Set aside.
- Remove the brussels sprouts from the oven and allow them to cool for a 2-3 minutes.
- Throw in the bacon bits, drizzle the sauce mixture over the top of the roasted brussels sprouts and serve.
